Chiaroscuro · wizard mode First Colour
A pinball machine with no colour in it. The board is split into a black half and a white half with a bank of three targets on each, and only the targets that look white count: each one develops a shade of grey. Hit a black one and the whole world inverts, black to white, and every target relights. The two orbits are shutters that flip the board on purpose. Develop all eight shades to light the Eclipse for Chiaroscuro multiball, catch the moon as it crosses the eclipse, and play long enough to see the wizard mode, First Colour, where colour floods back into the machine for the first time. Silent-film ragtime included.
