Daily Brains · one topic, ten match-ups, pick the bigger one.

More or Less is the higher-or-lower chain in Daily Brains (/daily). Each day has one topic — country populations, animal weights, river lengths and so on — and one fixed chain of ten comparisons that is the same for every player. Two cards ask one question: which is bigger? The winner stays, a new challenger steps up, and one wrong call ends the run. Your score is how many you got in a row, out of 10.

STORY & LORE

Eleven topics

Country populations, country areas, animal weights, animal lifespans, building and landmark heights, planet and moon diameters, food calories per 100 g, river lengths, mountain heights, city (urban-area) populations and inventions by age. The topics rotate in a shuffled eleven-day cycle and never repeat two days running.

Always a clear answer

Every value is an approximate, rounded figure and the game says so. No two cards shown together are ever within 10% of each other, and fuzzy topics use a much wider gap: animal weights and lifespans are always at least 1.5× apart, city populations 1.4×, inventions 1.2× in age and foods 1.15×. A test deals the next 400 days and checks the rule for every pair.

The market line

The run is drawn as a little stock chart: every right call ticks the line up, and the miss plunges it red. The results screen shows the whole line, the share squares, and the full chain with every value counting up — including the match-ups you never reached.

HOW IT PLAYS

Playing

Tap the card you think is bigger, or press ↑ / ↓ (also 1 / 2 or W / S). Both values are revealed straight away. If you were right, the winner moves up as the holder and a new challenger slides in; the holder's value stays on show. A wrong answer ends the day.

Scoring and streaks

Score is the number of right calls in a row (0–10). Scoring 3 or more counts as a win and keeps your daily streak; 10/10 is a perfect day. The share line reads like '📈 More or Less #22 — 7/10', then the green/red squares and the day's topic.

Practice rounds

After the daily chain, the Practice round button deals a random topic and a random chain. Practice runs are never saved or scored, so you can keep going as long as you like.
