Eyes up. Read the crowd. Take the hit.
Bodyguard Simulator puts you in the black suit next to four very difficult clients, seen from an overhead security camera. A pop star who runs at her fans, a senator who stops to shake every hand, a CEO who walks into traffic while texting, and a princess who zigzags to wave at both sides. Every threat in the crowd has a tell and exactly one right answer: tackle the rusher, step into the egg's arc, stand in the paparazzo's lens cone (never tackle the press), find the disguised plant by the glint of his knife, put your body on the sniper's red laser before it fires, and stand in front of your client so she stops before the sedan arrives. Sixteen contracts across four acts, each act ending in a boss job, contract cash for gear (earpiece, umbrella shield, partner agents), star ratings and perfect runs to chase, three difficulties and an endless Riot Mode. Build A is a ground-up rebuild of the original prototype (v0.8, Beta).
You are the newest officer at a protection agency whose clients are famous, loud and very bad at being protected. Your case files come in manila folders. Your earpiece is the only voice on your side. The next morning, The Daily Flash prints exactly what happened, including the bit where you flattened a grandmother holding an autograph book.
A crowd-reading escort game where every threat has a visible tell and its own response, and the cost of guessing wrong is tackling someone innocent. The verbs are only three (move, tackle, cover), but the answer changes with the threat, and the crowd is full of people who look like threats and aren't.
The October 2026 audit graded the original Bodyguard Simulator OVERHAUL: one venue loop, flat circles, click-to-neutralise and no systems. This build keeps the idea, the name and the slug and replaces everything else: a 16-contract career, four clients with their own walking personalities, nine threat types with distinct answers, four bosses, gear, cosmetics and the portal's achievements, leaderboards, TIX and cloud save.
YouClose-protection officerHEROBlack suit, earpiece, sunglasses indoors. Runs, tackles and throws himself in front of things. A yellow ring on the floor marks him. Suits from the game page's quick shop change his colourway, never his stats.
Lil' GlitterPop star · Act IALLY"Ohmygod, are those my fans? I have to say hi. Just quickly. Just everyone." Drifts to the barrier for selfies every few seconds and poses there, which is exactly where the rushers are. Fans she meets earn extra points.
Sen. Bramwell HatchSenator · Act IIALLY"Every hand I shake is a vote, son. Keep up and keep quiet." Stops dead at the barrier to shake hands. Has enemies in every county, and most of them brought eggs.
Rho KesslerCEO, Spindle · Act IIIALLY"Can't talk. Shipping." Texts while walking: speeds up, stops dead, drifts sideways, and walks straight into drive lanes. Stand in front of her and she waits; cover her and she moves with you.
Princess Ottoline of ValmoraRoyal Highness · Act IVALLY"One must greet them all, Mr. Guard. Both sides. Every time." Zigzags from one barrier to the other to wave, so the whole corridor is her route. Slower and stately, with the hardest crowds.
Gus "Number One" PellThe Superfan · boss of 1-4 Stage Door ShowdownBOSSBanned from forty venues, wearing a full Lil' Glitter costume and twice your size. Tackling him straight just bounces you off. He telegraphs each charge with a pink lane: body-block the charge (or let him hit the barricade) to stun him, then tackle. Three times. Each knockdown calls in his fan club.
The Grey CoatMaster of disguise · boss of 2-4 Founders Day ParadeBOSSArrives inside a group of four 'fans' that steps into the parade route. Only one of them glints, and his glint is rarer than a normal plant's. Tackle the right one and he vanishes in a smoke bomb; tackle the wrong one and you pay the lawsuit. Find him three times.
Vic StrandThe Ex-Cofounder · boss of 3-4 Level B4BOSSRho's ex-cofounder, in a black sedan, on the parking level where she is waiting for the lift. Five passes, each aimed at the lane Rho is pacing in and each a little faster. Cover her and drag her between the lanes. After the fifth pass the sedan crashes and Vic comes at her on foot: tackle him (a body-block stuns him first).
The JackalAssassin · boss of 4-4 Coronation BalconyBOSSPhase I: one rifle at a time from the rooftops; stand on the laser. Phase II: two rifles from opposite sides at once, so you cannot stand on both lines; cover her. Phase III: he comes down into the crowd as a plant among fans; find the glint and tackle him to finish the career.
MOVE (WASD / arrows, or click / drag on the ground). TACKLE (click or tap a person, or Space / J for the nearest person ahead): the guard runs in and dives when in reach. COVER (E / Shift, click or tap the VIP, or the tucked COVER button on touch): the guard hugs the client for 1.4s; nothing except a car can reach them, and they move with you. Cover recharges. Esc / P or the top-right button pauses, and the game pauses itself when the tab is hidden.
Every threat shows its intent before it acts: a crouch and a red '!', a yellow dotted arc, a white lens cone, a steel glint, a red reticle, a red laser, hazard stripes and headlights. Real fans and journalists also walk up to your client, and tackling either one costs 400 points, cash and your third star. A revealed threat is easy to tap; anyone who still looks like a member of the public has to be tapped on their body, so tapping the ground next to a fan just moves you. The first time each threat appears, the game slows down and an intro card explains the answer.
The client will not walk through you. Standing just ahead of them is how you hold them back from a drive lane, and how you keep them out of a rusher's path. In a hold contract they still drift: the pop star to the barrier, the senator to the front row, the princess side to side.
Sixteen contracts in four acts, each act a client with three jobs and a boss job. Escort contracts end at the green exit; hold contracts end when the clock runs out; boss contracts end when the boss falls or the clock runs out. A contract is cleared if the VIP's safety stays above zero. ★ survive · ★★ finish at 55%+ safety · ★★★ finish at 85%+ and tackle no innocents (boss contracts also need the boss down). A PERFECT stamp means 100% safety and no innocents. Stars and bests are saved per contract; clearing a contract unlocks the next.
Contracts pay contract cash (the fee, scaled by stars and difficulty, plus $10 per stop, minus $150 per lawsuit). Cash is in-game money only and buys gear: shoes, tackle training, an earpiece that calls threats and points at them off-screen, an umbrella that makes cover last longer and recharge faster, spotter shades that make plants and pickpockets give themselves away sooner, partner agents who hold a formation slot you pick in the briefing, and a Kevlar vest. Buying everything costs $10,700, roughly a first career's earnings.
ROOKIE stretches every warning by 35% and softens hits by 30%. PROFESSIONAL is the intended job. SECRET SERVICE shortens warnings to 78%, makes hits 30% heavier, spawns 25% more often and pays 35% more cash; clearing a boss here earns the Secret Service badge. Riot Mode unlocks after Act I: the limo broke down in the plaza, every threat type arrives in endless waves (each one a little longer and denser), the Superfan returns every fifth wave, and each held wave restores 12 safety.
Each stop pays points (see the table) multiplied by a combo: chain stops within 3.5 seconds for +25% each, up to x3. A hit on the VIP resets the combo. At the end a cleared contract adds 15 points per safety percent and 1,000 for a perfect run, then the whole score is multiplied by difficulty (Rookie 0.75, Professional 1, Secret Service 1.4). The CAREER RATING leaderboard is the sum of your best score on every contract; RIOT MODE is its own board.
Everything is seen from directly above, like a security camera: shoulders, arms, the tops of heads, hats and hair, with a drop shadow, soft key light and a comic outline, painted once into offscreen canvases so a 300-strong crowd runs on a phone. Seventeen venues each have their own floor, barrier and props (velvet ropes and brass posts, crowd barricades, bike racks, hedges, balustrades, parked cars and pillars). Phones flash in the crowd, signs bob, confetti and egg yolk fly. Tackles get hitstop, dust and screen shake; a blocked bullet freezes, then drops into slow motion. The score is a walking-bass spy-jazz loop that speeds up for bosses and Riot Mode, all synthesised in the browser; sound effects and music mute separately, and there is a calm-flashes setting. On a portrait phone the world turns 90 degrees so the route runs up the screen.
Every contract ends on the front page of the next morning's tabloid: a headline written from what you did ("HERO GUARD TAKES BULLET FOR RHO KESSLER", "BODYGUARD FLATTENS 3 INNOCENT BYSTANDERS"), a halftone photo of the final moment, star stamps, the facts and your contract cash.
Nine kinds of trouble, taught in this order across the career. Damage is on Professional.
Bought with contract cash, which you only earn by playing contracts. In-game money, never TIX.
Sold for TIX in the quick shop on this game's page (equip key bgs_suit). Purely cosmetic: same speed, reach and warnings. The game only paints a suit your account owns.

Escort = get the client to the exit. Hold = defend a spot until the clock runs out. Fees are Professional, before stars.
