Daily Brains: a scope is on you, and you have to work out where it is. Every day a misty new city: you see yourself through the shooter's crosshairs, then read the scope like a marksman, sizing up the 4 m paving stone you stand on in mils to get the range and judging how squashed it looks to get his height, before picking which of four windows he is behind. No range readout, two shots, bonus points for calling range and floor, Monday gentle to Sunday fiendish. A map-reading deduction puzzle in the spirit of the where-is-the-shooter map puzzles from social media, with streaks and a spoiler-free share line.
