Un oso. Un helicóptero de helados. Un plátano dorado. Una guerra que estaba ahí primero.
The cosy colouring-book studio made a war film. Blanco Bear — the site's white bear with the purple nose who only speaks Spanish — flies an ice-cream helicopter up a burning jungle river to take the Golden Banana off a god, because he wants to make the greatest ice cream sandwich in the world. It opens with a full seven-beat cinematic (Spanish cards, English subtitles, skippable), then five acts of Cave-style bullet hell ending at the Monkey King. The catch is HELADO: instead of a bomb that deletes the screen, Blanco FREEZES it. Every enemy bullet becomes a sprinkle you can fly through and eat, every enemy becomes a statue taking double damage, and the act holds its breath for three seconds. It is the only defensive move in the game that also makes your score go up. About fifteen minutes for a full clear. Three lives, three continues, and a one-credit clear worth chasing.
He is not fighting a war. He is running an errand, and the war is in the way. Blanco has spent his other games building an ice cream sandwich empire (Blanco Bear: Ice Cream Sandwich Tycoon), colouring the world in (¡Blanco Bear Colorea el Mundo!) and hiding in white rooms (¿Dónde está Blanco Bear?). This is the one where he wants a specific ingredient and someone won't give it to him.
The Golden Banana sits on a shrine on the Monkey King's mountain and, per the rumour Blanco heard, will make any dessert perfect. Blanco believes this completely. The Monkey King eats it in front of him in the final phase, which is why the fight has a true form.
A Sun Wukong figure with a spinning staff, a somersault cloud, fire eyes and seventy-two transformations, all of which he uses on a small bear in a helicopter. He is not evil. He simply also wanted the banana, and got there first.
Blanco only speaks Spanish, so all of his radio chatter is Spanish with English subtitles under it, and every spell card carries both names. That's consistent with all of his other games on the site — the subtitles are for us, not for him.
Flies EL HELADERO, an ice-cream helicopter with two waffle-cone weapon pods and a mint-and-pink stripe down the side. His hitbox is a 2.7-pixel dot in the cockpit bubble. He narrates the whole campaign, mostly about dessert.
Bow guns, a rolling coconut curtain with a sliding gap, and a searchlight beam. The teaching boss: it fires exactly one thing at a time until the last phase.
Hangs from the canopy on eight legs that sweep the screen as telegraphed beams. Phase two weaves a web: bullets that stop dead in the air and then snap at you thirty frames later.
A minigun that never stops, napalm that falls to the ground line and blooms sideways along it, and one tracking flame beam per cycle. The fastest-firing boss in the game.
Slams the ground where you're standing (marked first), then sends her children at you in waves. Blanco apologises to her, twice, and means it.
Staff, clones, fire eyes — then he eats the Golden Banana in front of you and turns gold. The final phase, EL REY DORADO, is the hardest two minutes in the game.
Three charges. Activating it cancels every bullet on screen into SPRINKLES you can collect for points, freezes every enemy solid (they stop moving, stop firing, and take 2.2× damage), pauses the whole act's script for about three and a half seconds, and makes you invulnerable through it. Enemies killed while frozen shatter for extra bananas. It is the panic button, the damage window and a scoring opportunity all at once, and choosing when to spend it is the entire skill ceiling.
Every kill drops golden bananas. Each banana adds 0.16 to your SUNDAE multiplier, which caps at ×8 and melts back down at about 0.14 per second if you stop collecting. The HUD draws it as a sundae glass that fills with scoops — five scoops and a cherry at maximum. Dying cuts it to 40%.
Red cherries fill a meter; every full meter is another HELADO charge (capped at five). Grazing and eating sprinkles both trickle into it, so aggressive play pays for the next freeze. Waffle cones are power-ups — four levels, from a two-stream spread to five streams plus homing sprinkle missiles.
Hold FOCUS to fly slowly and precisely, show the hitbox, and swap to a concentrated wafer lance that does much more damage to a single target. Bosses want focus; swarms want the spread.
Nothing in this game kills you unannounced. Beams draw a thin warning line and a dashed box for about three-quarters of a second before they fire. LA MADRE MONO's ground slams mark the impact circle with an expanding ring first. Banana bombs spin visibly before they burst. If you died and don't know why, that's a bug, not the design.
The Monkey King's army. Everything on this list is a monkey or built by one.
All four fly toward you once you're close, or automatically near the top of the screen.
Roughly three minutes each.
